While industrial safety performance has improved dramatically over the years, we still have a long way to go before we can say with any confidence that we are a truly “safe” country to work in.
Safety Group - Fife (formerly Fife Chamber of Safety) is ready to assist any local company which is interested, in promoting safety in the workplace.
The group meets at 7.30p.m.on the 2nd Monday of every month at the Dunfermline Building Society HQ, Dunfermline. Speakers are engaged to make presentations on a variety of safety related topics, and seminars are held at minimal cost throughout the year to improve the knowledge and expertise of personnel attending. All are welcome to attend.
The next meeting of Safety Group - Fife will take place at 7.30pm on Monday 20th April 2009 (moved to account for Easter Monday) at Dunfermline Building Society, Caledonia House, Carnegie Avenue, Dunfermline, KY11 8PJ. The speaker will be Errol Parish of Mines Rescue speaking on the history of Mines Rescue.
